Hi, I’m Tamara, a wedding photographer, who moved from Southern California to Michigan, and I would love nothing more than to capture your love and joy on your wedding day!  What a journey it is to get married!  You learn so much about each other and find out what each of you value as important.  This beginning growth is such a wonderful and important part of beginning your lives together.   I want to be there to help you commemorate and celebrate this beautiful thing called marriage!

I learned quite a bit when I was in the process of getting married and it carried over to my career as a photographer. When one of my friend’s photographers bailed on her a week before her wedding she called me to step into the role and I was forever enchanted! I fell in love with weddings and wedding photography!  From that one wedding I started photographing all of her friend’s weddings and transitioned from being a commercial baby photographer to a full-time wedding photographer!  I still love photographing maternity and babies, but my love for wedding photography has never waned!  You may even notice I get a bit misty eyed at your event!  Even though I’ve photographed so many events I still get emotional over seeing your connection come to life on your wedding day!

Something you need to know about Tamara Santana Photography is that we think differently.  Not only do we honor the wedding process, but we listen to what is important to you.  From our years of experience one of the things we hear from our couples over and over is how awkward they feel in front of the camera.  We do our very best to minimize those feelings and provide you with pointers to make posing feel easy and effortless. 

​You deserve to have the most beautiful wedding experience!   We strive to show your love by capturing creative, elegant and modern images.  Sometimes we throw in a bit of whimsy to catch those sentimental moments of your story!

Though I would love to work with everyone who contact’s me I can only take a limited number of couple’s per year.   How many amazing friend’s can I make in a year?
